These rusk rings make the perfect compliment to lunch and dinner and is the main ingredient of the infamous Cretan Ntako. Available are Rye Rusks, Whole Wheat Rusks, Barley Rusks, Olive Oil Rusks, Sfakiano Semi Sweet Rusks and many others.
All the rusks are all natural, well toasted food, with no additional preservatives, rich in fibre, assisting in good and proper digestion, as well as reducing cholesterol levels.
Serving Suggestion:
With the flat surface facing upwards, place olive oil, grated tomato with salt and finish off by topping with mizithra Cretan cheese. A simple, easy and delicious recipe that can be used as a starter or main meal.
